Buick Regal GS

buick regal gsWhen people think about Buick, words like the old, boring, and Grandpa come to mind. Rarely, does the word sport is delivered as an accurate description, but are preparing to return. In an effort to change the stigma attached to the brand, Buick is the release of all new Buick Regal GS, which will reach dealerships in fall 2011. This new vehicle will focus on models like the Audi A4 and the Acura TSX, with its unique Ecotec 2.0L direct injection, turbocharged generates an output of 270 HP and 295 lb-ft of torque.

The last time they released a Buick GS model, which was 2004. This model was powered by a 3.8 L V6 L67 Series II supercharger that produces 240 HP and 280 lb-ft of torque. Technology, and the constant need to improve fuel economy, Buick has to pump more horsepower from a smaller engine, while providing an estimated fuel economy of 33 MPG.

The Regal GS exterior is defined by the prominent grooves, vertical air intake and specific grille treatment. The vertical elements of the vehicle are emphasized in a metallic satin finish and have a few integrated, glossy metallic trapezoidal exhaust pipes and integrated rear spoiler.

The GS cut more sporting stance, too, with a lower height than other models Gift and aggressive 19-inch 5-twin alloy wheels and all-season tires (20-inch 5-twin polished alloy wheels with tires high performance is optional.)

The power upgrade in the Buick Regal GS sedan allowed to compete against some impressive vehicles. The outstanding specifications can be found in the torque and fuel consumption, where the Regal GS stands out from the crowd.
