Mercedes-Benz fuel cell technology has the flexibility to be used in a wide variety of vehicles, from passenger cars to public transport.

This according to Professor Herbert Kohler, director of E-Drive and mobility in the future and Environmental Director of Daimler AG, which said that the green credentials of the system make it ideal for long distance travel and short.

“The fuel cell vehicles have great potential for reducing CO2 in a wide range of mobility needs, ” added Kohler.

His comments came after learning that the third section of the world tour of F-CELL drive with the Mercedes-Benz B-Class F-CELL has begun.

After seasons of driving across Europe, USA and Canada, the car with the environment is now making its way through Australia.

From there, painted green for Mercedes-Benz B-Class F-CELL will head to Shanghai in China to spend several days on display at the ceremony Shanghai before returning to its beginning and ending in Stuttgart, Germany.

The manufacturer said the purpose of the trip is to demonstrate the technical maturity and suitability for daily use of electric vehicles with fuel cells.
